An Irish Blessing

St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner! I am part Irish so this holiday is special to me.
I wanted to share an Irish Blessing with you:

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

In celebration of St. Patty's Day I painted a sweet little girl who found a four leaf clover!

This lucky little girl is up for grabs on ebay.

She's a pretty one. We are not Irish, but my husband lived in Ireland for a while. He has a warm place in his heart for Ireland. Happy St. Patrick's Day to you and thanks for the Irish blessing.

Love being part irish (though youwouldnt be able to tell!) The irish girl is great. As a girl I used to sit in the garden trying to find four leaf clovers. This painting reminds me of that!

What a sweet little Irish girl, Tascha! :) Happy Saint Patty's Day...and thank you for posting that wonderful Irish blessing. Some dear friends of mine gave a framed copy of that blessing to my hubby and I at our wedding...always a joy to read!

She's adorable! I live in Northern Ireland, so it's a holiday for us and I get a day off work. Yippee! I think I'll spend it painting. :)
