I have some new paintings listed up for auction in my ebay shop. I realized they have a neopolitan ice cream vibe to them. They have a creamy, pastel vintage coloring.






Now I have to go eat some ice cream!

3 Random Facts Part 2

Hey Y'all!

The sweet Krissy has tagged me to tell 5 random facts. I did do this a couple of months ago, and I am having trouble coming up with 5 new facts. I have thought of 3 new ones for now.
Since I tagged people before, this time around I will ask you the reader to add a random fact about yourself in the comment section, just for fun!

Fact #1
I'm sensitive to fragrances. ALL fragrances. I can't be around, perfume, air fresheners, scented cleaning products, fabric softener sheets, you name it. If it is scented, I will get a migraine from it. So everything I own is unscented.

Fact #2
I collect decorative tape. This is a rather recent thing. I just love all the different patterns and designs. They are so much fun! I have about 30 different rolls. I like to use them on the boxes I ship.



Fact #3
When I was a teenager, I loved the movie "The Outsiders" so much that I watched it about 300 times. I knew it line for line. I had my bedroom covered in posters of the stars (Rob Lowe, Matt Dillon, and Tom Howell).

Love these shoes

I really love CAMPER shoes! They have such interesting styles. These ones are part of their "Twins" collection. They are twins, but not identical. Each foot has it's own personality.

6 Alarm Fire, a bike shop gone :(

Today I woke up to the news that Duke's Bike Shop had burned down. The fired was massive as you can see by this photo. Luckily no one (no animals either) were hurt in this fire.

I'm sad for a couple of reasons. First Duke's was a family run business. It was opened in 1914 and has stayed in that location the whole time with the Duke family running it generation after generation. I always feel sad when something bad happens to a small ma and pa business.

I am also sad because I used to live 1/2 a block down from Duke's. I love this neighbourhood. I love bikes. I haven't been on a bike in years. Mine got stolen in 2001, and I never got another one. I used to ride it all over Toronto. The cycling community in Toronto is very strong. I miss it.

I just felt the need to express my feelings about what happened.

I want to leave you with a video I found on youtube. It's of a critical mass. Critical mass happens once a month here in Toronto. Cyclists get together and "take over" the city. I've been in a couple of them back in the mid 90's. I wasn't in this one though.

My art portfolio

As many of you know, I've painted a TON of paintings since I started selling my art on ebay in 2001.

I am in the process of organizing some of these paintings and putting them on FLICKR. I am only showing my favorites. It's a big job, and I will try and keep on updating it.

I can't get over how colorful my art was!!! I am doing a few new paintings in that old colorful style because it is just so darn YUMMY.

The Ultimate Coffee Cup

I've had a few people ask me where I got the coffee mug I am drinking from in my newest video "SNOW DAY".
I found this mug on the internet actually. I thought it was just the coolest thing! It is made by an artist named David Pier.

New print in my etsy shop!

HI Y'all!

Hope your week is starting out well. It's the usual Monday madness here. There is always a lot of packages to get ready and take to the post office on Monday.

I wanted to let you know that I have listed a new print on etsy. This is one of my FAVORITE paintings of late. It has such a vintage look to it. The original was done on a large canvas, but the prints are 8x10. They turned out FABULOUS!
