I like the grey. It makes your eyes really stand out. I never noticed the color before and how they are the first things I see. Stay true to you. I like it. Thought I shouldn't talk I am only 30 and maybe have one grey hair. But you are a role model for me on not giving in to the lure of chemical dyes and fear of going grey.
tascha, you are lovely. i share your sentiments about aging gracefully and naturally. i have adored gray/white hair since i was a little girl. i absolutely love the look of black women with gray/white hair, but, alas, i don't think my genes can do that for me. fooey.
Tascha, you shine with all your beauty, grace and confidence. You inspire me. Love this pic. Dee.
Tascha... you are beautiful.
oh your hair looks beautiful and so do you! i agree that every silver strand was earned and is a badge of honor! :)
Tasha, I think its beautiful. I have decided to let myself go grey too. I'm in that in between stage with my hair color. Love your hair...and love you! Your work is so wonderful!!
You look great! and I always say grey hair is better than NO hair!suze:)
Dear Tascha, You look so confident in this photo and in my mind THAT is what it is all about ...Feeling beautiful in our skin and not letting the media dictate to us what are 'beautiful rules'... It is important, l think, that we be role models for the young women of today, as many of them are so caught up in media image that they are suffering such terrible life threatening illnesses as anorexia (as one of my children did) In this photo l think you radiate beauty xox
Hi Tascha, I read your blog regularly and today I listened to your interview on Art Talk Radio! You are a great inspiration to me. Thanks for all your hard work sharing yourself through your videos and blog. I think this is a totally exciting time to live, where artists can write their own art history books about themselves as they go along on the internet, instead of waiting for someone to do it for them when they're dead! Ha! Plus, you look fabulous with your grey highlights! Peace & Love!
Tascha, that's not fair that you are grey and still so gorgeous! I believe you are definitely going to be a new start for us women, not only in being a creative success, but also in creating a new vision of what a truly beautiful woman looks like! Hugs to you!
LOVE your hair!!! you look so NATURAL! and yes, i am a natural purple :)Love&hugserica
Tascha, what a beautiful portrait photo. I love your hair natural!...Donna
You are so beautiful! your skin looks so good! I like your hair natural and this comes from someone that changes her hair 20 times a year (I even blog about it)l♥veAdri
I love it! I'm going to have to try and grown mine out sometime. I've been coloring it a lighter brown, but my hair was dark brown before it turned gray. I can't imagine how this will look growing out!Catherine
You look gorgeous! Really, you are a very pretty woman...gray hair or not. :)
I think you look beautiful
I LOVE it! It is perfect Tascha! congrats on the 500 subscribers...that is so fabulous!!!xoxox...jenn
You have a very youthful face and with that grey hair, I think it makes for a great combination! I have always loved that and find it so very unique. You can carry it off and do it well! I might just put down the bottle and let all my greys come out of hiding!!
great picture!I added you to my blog.....would you like to exchange links?Shelly
EVERYONE wants to be THE artist. Few are willing to be the canvas.I love the gray hair! I always thought I would let it go natural, but then... one day I decided my gray was out of proportion with having my 2 year old. I didn't want everyone to think I was her grandmother! Why do I care??? Not sure :)So... I've been "summer brown", "lightest golden brown", "brown with burgandy hightlights", and most recently... "warm maple brown"... LOL! Not TOO adventurous, but then again... I am more of a prim artist!!!Congrats on "being free to go gray"! Looking forward to your latest artistic wonders!Blessings... *Linda*
Tascha, Your grey hair does not take away from your beauty.....not one bit.
AWWW--You've got such a cute face, who care's about the hair!? =) But it's cute too!
Tascha, you know grey is the new strawberry blonde! Let it shine!Krissy
Oh, please, please share how you got were able to go your natural grey, without it being noticeable in any of your posts? I've only seen you with darker hair, and no grey. I've been thinking of no longer dying mine, but I tried for 4 months and the strip down the center of my part, was so noticeable! I gave up and began dying it again. Yours looks great! I just need how to do it like you did, as I haven't had any luck so far. :)
Thanks all for your support :)In regards to how I got it to get grown out, You could notice it. In the video it doesn't show as grey as it is. Plus, it may look more grey in this pic... Either way, it was tricky because there were roots.I don't have a TON of grey so it wasn't TOO obvious when it was growing out. I just tried to ignore it. I planned it during the winter months so that I could have a hat on when I was out and about. Then I just kept trimming the dyed parts off every month or so. I still have around 1 inch of dyed hair on some parts. I can't wait till it is ALL NATURAL! Ugh! I can't stand the orangy colored ends!!! I figure that by August it will be 100% natural.
Thanks, Tascha! I also just realized that I missed your original post about how you made the transition. Doh! Sorry. :)I was working in a building full of people who were making constant compliments when I was trying to let mine go natural. Constant, "OMG..what happened?!?" or "Wow, I guess I haven't seen you in awhile, because you have a skunk stripe!" and things like that. It's very hot where I live, so I remember I found myself wishing I lived in a state cool/cold enough for hats! Thanks for sharing, because it's given me some inspiration again! :)
You look beautiful!Love your art!Painting love from Norway ;)

Hey Tascha, I really love your hair. I am 30 years old, and in the last year..I have gotten grayer than ever. I've been worried about it, and I try not too because everyone always says that my gray hair comes from worry. I like to think it is occuring natural, but I guess only god really knows. You have made me feel a lot better. You are very beautiful. Thanks for the inspiration.
