SNEAK PEEK pen and ink art

This is a sneak peek of some of the pen and ink art I've been working on. Above is mini canvas painting with acrylic and ink. See how they look like little framed paintings inside the canvases? I had fun drawing the fine lines on them! Little squiggles and details that I'm not used to getting with a brush.

This is a Moleskine brand journal. I drew and painted on the cover. It's original, not a print! YAY! I'll make more of these soon and have the up in my etsy shop tomorrow.

Have a great Saturday!
:)

I like the idea of using moleskin. I've never tried that before. Just stopped by to say that I bought a little of Spirulina at my health food store and I actually feel a little more invigorated and I it. I'm drinking it with orange juice like you said and I did a post on it a couple of posts back. Thanks for the introduction to Spirulina. Have a great weekend.

The pen and ink is a fun new twist. I just got home from a class using pen and ink and watercolor. One technique used a non-waterproof pen and intentionally let it bleed into the watercolor.

The moleskin is WONDERFUL! Those paintings are really cute. I've started using "Sharpie" poster pens in my paintings and they are great to work with. You can get them in quite a few colours.
Hope your weekend is going grand!

That is adorable!!! I'm so excited to find another pen and ink artist. I love your little girls. They remind me of Eastern European fairy tale characters.

I am loving the new look of your art. I started out my art journey back in high school (eons ago!) with pen and ink and really love it.
