This is how today is going. I had to pack up some packages and go to the post office (which happens to be at the mall :) )
I knew Chief Ramsay from the tv show Hell's Kitchen was going to be there today signing books. I couldn't get there in time for the book signing. But I did snap a couple of pictures of him:
Hell's Kitchen is the only reality show Morgan will watch with me. I can't get him to watch any others...like John and Kate plus Eight. So we were kind of excited to meet him. Morgan had to work, so I just took a few pictures to show him when he gets home tonight.
When he left and was going up the escalator, they played the show's theme song "FIRE". It made me happy.Now, about this jacket. Pretend you are shopping with me. I found this sweet little shorty coat at H&M. It's about $40 and it matches my grey hair! LOL! I'm not sure if I should get it or not, so I'm asking you your opinion. I snapped this photo in the change room:
I really like it, I'm just not sure what I'd wear it with. They have a sale on for the rest of the week, so I have to make my mind up by Friday. What do you think?

Kate Plus Eight is one of my daughter's fave shows. It is cute.I am always amazed at what calm parents they are. I would be a mess!

Love it...but to be honest...and I do it all the time(buy muted greys and blacks-but colour and create with lots of colour)...I would look for something brighter...the Spring is coming, a friend came to my house the other day wearing a bright green short Jacket...and it just brightened up her whole persona...so idealy...buy the grey one because it looks awesome...but treat yourself to colour too!

I love jon and Kate plus 8...I might even be addicted to it... but the jacket is super cute and looks good on you. If you are practical like me...just ask yourself how many times a month would you realistically wear it. If you are not practical then throw caution to the wind and buy it cause you can't beat that price.

I do love color...but since my hair has gone grey, I am not sure what colors to wear. I know I'm a "winter", but I get worried that color doesn't go with my hair now.

They must have trick mirrors in there because that jacket is a size Large! I seem to be a large now in everything!

I'd wear it with
a: a neutral long sleeve fitted top underneath, black skinny leggings, flats + a winter hat, b'c it's freezing.
b: maybe a sutble pink fitted top, again, long sleeves, wide leg trouser cut jeans, chunky heels + patterened scarf.
If you feel it's a good deal, grab it. I have lots of black and greys in my closet. I feel chic when I wear dark colors, but I get way more compliments when I wear color. It looks very cute on you :)

The photo, your pose, the cut of jacket, the cut of your hair.. all reminiscent of when I used to flip through my mum's Vogue magazines when I was a little girl.
Looks like a very versatile jacket, btw, which you could easily dress up or down, and its kind of a timeless cut as well. Looks great on you.
I hate reality shows as a rule, but I get so easily sucked into anything Gordon Ramsay. ..not quite sure why. Fun you got to see him. How tall was he? I can never tell when i see him on screen.
I think Gordon was about 6 feet tall...maybe a bit taller, it was hard to tell from where I was.
