Today it snowed. Not a lot...but enough to let you know that winter is coming.
At the start of every summer, I buy flowers and plant them in flower boxes out on my balcony. As fall arrives, I feel bad about letting the flowers die. I would bring them inside if I could, but the cats would eat them and get sick...so I have to leave the flowers out there all winter. It upsets me. Do flowers have feellings? I really hope not.
This new painting is about winter coming and bringing in the flowers....something I wish I could do.
The painting "WINTER IS COMING" is up for auction on ebay

That is a gorgeous painting. Have you recently started working larger?
Thank you so much Chris!
Yes, lately I have been painting larger. Just trying something new.
Thanks for stopping by!
She's beautiful Tascha!!!
Btw, your kitty at the beginning of this video looks so much like the one I had as a teenager. Her name was Alexandra, Zan for short, and she had one little white patch above her mouth and white on her toes. What breed is your kitty? Don't know what mine was since she was a mixed breed and her mother was a tabby cat.
Tascha, I love the colors on this painting and love your large paintings as much as your smaller ones.
Thanks you guys!
Paulette, Opie is a flame point (probably more like a cream point) Siamese Cat. Lily is a seal point siamese.
I love this painting. You are so talented. Thanks for sharing you great videos
I love your paintings. This is my first time visiting your blog and I really like it. I will be checking it out again in the future. Thanks for sharing some of your techniques on painting.
Tascha, your video is sooo relaxing, I think it brought my BP down. I too mourn the loss of my flowers in the Fall. I used to get depressed, but now my art keeps me sane.
Thanks!
I so look forward to your videos!
Keep 'em comin'!!!

If flowers do have feelings, I know they would understand...and I know they would cherish your loving tribute to them in your wonderful painting, "Winter is coming..." I think flowers know that, come next spring, they will be anew with life and so continues the cycle.
Thank you so much for the beautiful paintings you create, and for sharing your techniques on Youtube, I learned from your experience! I'm very happy I found your art! *^v^*
Where can I find this song? Love it. Who sings it, what is the name? Pleeese. :)
