This weeks ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY theme is "SUPERSTITION".
My entry is the old superstition of a black cat crossing your path. It is supposed to be bad luck.
BUT I THINK it is GOOD luck because cats are so wonderful and I could never see them as being bad luck.

This has a charming and sweet look. I love the contrast of the red-pink clothing against the blue backdrop, and how her hair matches the cat. It is a nice tie-in.
My parents have two black cats - they cross my path all the time. Glad it's good luck over here!

Your painting is such a cutie! I love your style of painting and envy your freedom with the paint brush. My style is so much more stiff and flat colored, I guess it is my illustrator style of then that still stays with me. Also, I meant to thank you for your great generosity in showing on youtube how your paint your wonderful images.
