My Little Lizzy doll made it to the first issue of STUFFED Magazine! It is on news stands now. This sweet magazine is full of darling dolls from many talented artists.

In other news, my boyfriend Morgan was the supervising animator on the new Tim Burton Movie called "9". He worked MANY long hours on this one! (Luckily I work many long hours too, so it worked out fine. lol)
The movie isn't in theaters until 9-9-09, so you will have to wait for it. Until then, here is the trailer:

Lounging with the kitties

It's the kind of weather that just makes you want to lounge with the kitties. That's what I've been doing. Opie loves to take naps with me and sleep in my arms, and kiss me on the cheek. He really does! I will have to find a way to video tape it and show you. He is such a cuddly boy!

Glittery snow outside

Today I woke up to the sun shining and beautiful glittery snowflakes gently floating outside my window. I went out onto my balcony and took this picture to show you.
Since it is so chilly outside, I thought it would be a good day to stay in and work on my bird project.

Red Riding Hood gets a kitten

How is everyone doing? We got a LOT of snow here today! WOW! It didn't stop me from going to the post office. What would my day be without a trip to the post office? :)
I have a new painting up for grabs on ebay. This time Lil' Red has a new kitten! Looks like Wolfie doesn't know how to handle this! I think they can all be friends.

My little helper

I got my HUGE shipment of shipping supplies today. (That always makes me laugh! They have to ship me the shipping boxes, seems sort of redundant doesn't it?).
Anyways, Opie was right in there tearing the packing to pieces. He made himself a little cave out of it. Then he kept jumping in one of the empty boxes, so I cut a little door in it and flipped it upside down to make him a house. He's had fun running in and out of it all day! He will run past Lily and spook her then go straight into his little house and take swipes at her as she passes by.

gift giving to save animals

Today on my way to the post office, I spotted a little stand set up in the middle of the mall.
It was the World Wildlife Federation. They had all kinds of different little stuffed animals lined up across the desk. I went over to see what it was all about. The WWF was selling the little stuffed animals for $40 and the $40 went towards saving that specific animal. COOL! I think it is a perfect gift to give someone! You get the toy plus a little "adoption certificate" and info on that animal. I got the caribou : I just thought I'd share this idea with you. You can see on the USA WWF website more info on this gift. Here is the CANADIAN WWF site. I guess it is too late to get them from the site for Christmas, but they make a cute gift for any occasion.

Mini Me
