What a nice surprise!

I was so surprised to see that in the newest issue of Somerset Studio "the art of mixed media and paper", a thank you note I sent them was added to their "letters to the editor" section at the front!

I sent Jenny Doh a thank you note for featuring me in the Artful Blogging magazine. Since it was Halloween at the time, I did a funny little drawing of a witch and her kitty flying over a city. I never expected to see it in a magazine! I was very thrilled when I did. What a wonderful surprise!
This particular issue is spectacular! I love the art in it so much! It is a must have.
Hugs to all!
Keep cozy!

I just came over from browsing on etsy, looking for inspiration. WOW I LOVE your art - it is wonderful! I have two daughters adopted from China and I want to get back to my drawing and do some Asian children art - it is hard to find for my friends who have adopted since Asian children are rarely featured in art, and your work is such an inspiration to me to develop my own charming characters and style. And what a small world - I saw that little bit in the Somerset magazine - we are at the book store every week and I immediately plop on a bench with every issue of anything Stampington puts out. How cool to have your art in there. Sorry, I'm babbling, but I am just so charmed by your little Fridas - and your cats are gorgeous too while I'm gushing LOL!

How sweet! And I gotta say that the entire selection of Somerset publications are just ... just ... I dunno ... is there a word that sums up beautiful, inspiring, motivating, captivating, valuable, etc ... ???

So cute! You never know where things will pop up. A few years back I sent some ATC's for a swap I never got the chance to participate in and they ended up in the book, 1000 Artist Trading Cards. Imagine my surprise when I picked up the book in the store and thumbed thru it and found my art sprawing across two pages!
Speaking of thumbing thru ....I picked up the new issue of Stuffed magazine yesterday and said "hold on! I just saw Tascha! Cute doll you are!

Hooray!

What a happy surprise, Tascha!

I guess that just goes to show that acts of kindness don't go unnoticed.
