There is a strong bicycle community here in Toronto. The city is so congested that walking or cycling is the best way to get around. Today Morgan and I went for a little walk and all of a sudden I saw a giant Egyptian sculpture! (Click the photo to see it bigger)
Is that King Tut? Help me out on this one :) I guess I better go to the exhibition and find out!
Frida likes to ride her bike around town to go get flowers for her hair:
Cycling and walking are great ways to actually stop and see what is going on around you, plus, it is better for the environment :)
Frida on her bike is up for grabs on ebay.

Yes it is a King Tut exhibition...I just saw it here in the states & it was amazing. You will love it! I love it when walks and bicycle rides led us to new discoveries.
I wet to the King Tut exhibit many years ago. It was fabulous. Very interesting artifacts. So much gold. It's amazing. Hope you went or are going to go. You won't be let down.
Xo,
Tammy
that is such a beautiful photo of YOU the Egyptian statue fades into the background!
Oh! Love Frida's hair flying out behind her. She must be SPEEDING on that bike! Look out!
The big sculpture is an Egyptian god - either Anubis, God of Embalming, or Seth, God of the Desert and Brother of Osiris. The picture on the big poster is one of the containers of King Tut's body parts, I think. Definitely go see the exhibit if you get a chance. I saw a TV show on how the exhibit was moved and installed - unbelievable work!
I wonder what little Frida would think of the exhibit?
i feel great joy in my heart when i visit with you Tascha ~Thankyou~ so much for that X:-)
(Ps) That's Anubis - The Egyptian God of Embalming with the head of a jackal
and I am LOVING your jacket!
Thanks for letting me know who that is. I thought he looked like a dog with a man's body. Very interesting how the Egyptians had such a strong connection with animals. Mainly the CAT (my personal favorite)
I love fridas hair, flying in the wind
Good for freida everyone needs exercise!!
Anubis is what I thought and then wondered how I knew that! Wow, if you have a chance to see the King Tut ex, go do it. Egyptian things amaze and intrigue me.
Sweet Frida:)
I'm lucky to live in a walking town (nyc, manhattan) ... you see so much by walking everywhere and feeling the weather on your skin as you do so. It's good for the soul!
Ah- funky Tut....
I love the latest Frida.
You will love King Tut! We saw the exhibition in Seattle about...whoa...29-30 years ago??? Where does the time go!?
What a great photo of you, and I love your Frida!

I'm really enjoying your particular idea of "Frida". The harshness that I sometimes see in other depictions of Frida is downplayed here. I like that. Your Frida is like Frida in her childhood.
