This weekend proved to be a bit trying though...
Opie got into some people food that he shouldn't have and got pretty sick. We took him to the vet on Monday and $340 later he is as good as new! (He better be at that price!)
I love that little guy and I never want anything bad to happen to him. He is on antibiotics now and I'm thinking maybe a "give a cat a pill" video may be in order. Thank you all for being so patient with me.

Any ideas for a video?

Hey y'all! I hope everyone is having a super weekend!
I think it is high time I make a new video. I was wondering what you might like to see. Any suggestions? More painting? I was thinking of showing myself packing packages and taking them to the post office. Maybe you would like to see more of the cats? Cooking? Fashion shows? LOL! Let me know what you are interested in.

The boyfriend Jean

Oh I am so happy these jeans are coming back in syle! They are called the "boyfriend jean" and here is a picture of Katie Holmes wearing them. (Personally I wouldn't roll them up at the bottom). A lot of fashion critics don't like this new look.... but I do! I am tired of all the tight jeans. I want a pair of jeans to feel comfortable. I've been looking for jeans like this for a while. I still haven't found any, but I think that they will be in stores soon. YAY!

Cake!

Yesterday was my Nana's 90th birthday! Here is the WHOLE family. Is my family tiny or what? Both my parents are only children and I am an only child too! Nana still goes to the mall everyday and lives in her own apartment. Pretty amazing isn't it?
In the spirt of birthday's and cake I did this LARGE painting for an upcoming show. It is 18 x 24 inches on thick canvas.
I wanted the colors on this one to be very mellow and "shabby chic". Yummy cake colors.

Decorative Tape

Hello Beautiful People!
The super talented Anne Webb has tagged me. She is a fantastic ceramic artist, you must go see her blog! I have been tagged before to tell random facts about myself and right at the moment I can't think of any extra facts.... Except for my GIANT DECORATIVE TAPE COLLECTION!!!!

I LOVE Decorative tapes. I have quite the collection. Some I love more than others...but I love them all! Today I was out in the Queen West neighbourhood and stopped by the store called The Paper Place I love paper...but I love deco tape more! Low and behold they had some awesome tape that I had never seen before!

Isn't this roll cute?!!! It is on brown tape which is cool on it's own...but it also has cats wearing hats and having tea all over it!!! I got a couple of different rolls with red riding hood on them. The collection is called The Shinzi Katoh Collection and their stuff is WAY COOL!!! Go look at the website! It seems to be in Korean and I don't think you can purchase anything off the site which is a shame because I love everything!
Anyway, I just want to express my undying love for tape. I mean, I really would rather receive tape as a gift than a diamond bracelet.

Halloween is in the air

With the start of school fall is in the air. Fall always reminds me of halloween. I don't know how I will get through this Halloween without eating candy! I've been tempted to buy a bag of mini chocolate bars every time I'm in the store. So far I have been victorious over it and not given in. Somebody pass the raisins will ya?
