We went to my mother's house where she served up slow-roasted ribs, rice pilaf and steamed beans. Then she gave us apple crisp (with orange and lemon zest) and ice cream for dessert.

It was all so very, very good.

Oh boy! I get to be first! Let's see, I had a turkey sandwich tortilla chips and salsa. Yum. Lazy Saturday, the kids just got hot dogs and hubby had to fend for himself. Hope I win! Have a great weekend!

We had leftover pizza. Freschetta to be exact. Yes, frozen pizza from the grocery store. Sigh!

Hey Tascha, Oh this is fun! Count me in too!

I had a new dish for the first time. It was Kristen Beason's recipe. Baked chicken with crumbled bacon then Honey, curry, dijion mustard and cayenne pepper glaze was drizzled over the top and served with rice.

It was really good and easy. My kind of meal, Easy!

My 15 yr old son took me to dinner, the rest of the family having gone their separate ways. We went to Culvers which is gross, I had a nasty cup of soup and an ok salad. It wasn't about the food though.;) Love your work Tascha~you are inspiring me-visit my blog and see!

I know I'm late but anyway we had chicken breasts with a terrific mushroom sauce and oven potatoes. The best part is that my husband cooked it I didn't have to do a thing!

Frozen lasagne...well, not really frozen lasagne. Frozen lasagne that we heated in the oven. With wind chills -27, we weren't about to venture out!
