Wood canvases rule!




I have been having a lot of fun painting on wood lately. This is a new painting currently on etsy.

UPDATE **This painting has sold**

I painted the trees, girl and bird and then left the background natural wood. I also used pen and ink on this one. In the end I put a light varnish finish on it.

    So perfect in its simplicity. The colours are so appealing. I love it. It brings a smile to my face.

    Very nice! I love her against the pale background.
    I like painting on wood too, although I haven't done so, so much of it. Do you make the wood canvases?
