  12. This is sooo cute, but all I can think about is what happened before, when Red was trying to pop that little mask on that bird and then tied on that tiny headscarf. What a wrestling match that must have been! All she needs is some little sweat beads on her forehead!
Your art always puts a smile on my face. Those Moleskins are brilliant!

  13. Adorable! Tascha, do you think you will go back to the thick black outlined style again, I really like that a lot.

  14. HI Dithi!
It's funny about the black outline painting, I stopped because the art store stopped selling the paint brushed that I used when I painted like that. I had to change my painting style to go with my new paint brushes :)
I can still paint like that with these new brushes, but it is more challenging,

  16. That is interesting Tascha....what brushes would you say are the ones most suitable for the black outlines? I mean, the ones that have been discontinued? A flat or rounded-tip?! I hope I am not asking too many questions ... I am a BIG fan of your black-outline style and go back to your Flickr 2005-6 to see them. You have a signature way of doing it that stands out and is 'outstanding'!! Thanks for your response...much love...d

  17. Hi Dithi!
The brushes were mongoose bristles and it was from the company "Grumbacher". They were a special addition brush (I didn't know that) and I would buy one every week or so as they wore out. Then one day I went in to buy one, and they were all gone and they said they had been discontinued. I haven't found anything similar since. They were only about two dollars a brush, and I see some that look similar, but they can be 25 dollars a brush and I'm not willing to pay that much.
    Cheers!
