As you may know, Morgan & I adopted Opie 2 years ago saving him from a cruel breeder. Opie was a very sick little kitten who needed around the clock care and feedings. He spent a week in intensive care at the vet. The vet wasn't sure he'd make it. But he did! Today he is the strongest, healthiest cat I've ever seen. He is the most loving too.
I put together some pictures of him in this video to celebrate his birthday.

Happy Birthday Opie! I loved the video... made me get a little teary-eyed thinking about my own sweet kitty (Cooper) who will be 8 in June. Time flies. :o)

ReplyDeleteWe have just got back from the cat santuary where we have picked out our new cat!! Our beloved cat died in Aug, so we really want another. The one we hope to get is a marmalade colour and called Gerri- she is a girl and sooo beautiful. She was found as a stray so we hope to give her a new loving home!

Tascha that was the sweetest video. What a wonderful thing you did and what a gorgeous cat. I was on the phone with my daughter and we both watched it together. Her in Peterborough and me in St. John's, crying and laughing and oohing and aww-ing. Thanks for that. :-)
