Today I woke up to the sun shining and beautiful glittery snowflakes gently floating outside my window. I went out onto my balcony and took this picture to show you.
Since it is so chilly outside, I thought it would be a good day to stay in and work on my bird project.
Here is the colorful update:

Hope you all are having a sparkly day!
Gorgeous beautiful snow WOW! Very Christmassy!! It's cold but not that cold here in England. Very pretty bird too, oh to have a talent like that! Jane x

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely view! The little finch is sweet. I have them at my feeder. Especially now that the weather is cold, they need all the help we can give them.

Oh MY...
ReplyDeleteRight before I checked your blog guess what I was sketching? Yes it is true..a bird. There was a liitle finch right outside my office with his feathers all puffed up. He looked so cold. It was -18! BRRRRRR!
Anway, I couldn't stop thinking about hims, so idecided to sketch him. And then I found your bird.
Very lovely. I just adore birds, Always have~Always will.
Merry Christmas and sat warm!
i can't wait to see what you're going to do with your beautiful bird :)
ReplyDeleteBonjour again Tascha! Lovely bird sketch, yellow finches are my favorites! I love how their feather color changes like a chameleon, almost whitish beige in winter and bright yellow in early summer! Yesterday, it was snowing hard and I almost lost control of my car when I was surprised by a blue heron taking a flight right in front of me! In december in this frigid cold!!! I gotta do some research on the subject, I have never seen a heron in winter yet!!! Strange ... Have a cozy day! LuLu
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The snow has been falling (and falling and falling) here in southern New England ... and it's equally beautiful! ENJOY!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the snow here, too, and have strong hopes for a white Christmas even though it is supposed to rain. :)
ReplyDeleteSweet, sweet tweety! And your two furry assistants below are adorable! Season's Greetings!
