Frida and a movie trailer


Today Frida is surrounded by all her bird friends. This painting has collage elements and an antique wash.
"Frida with Birds Collage" is up for grabs on ebay.

In other news, my boyfriend Morgan was the supervising animator on the new Tim Burton Movie called "9". He worked MANY long hours on this one! (Luckily I work many long hours too, so it worked out fine. lol)
The movie isn't in theaters until 9-9-09, so you will have to wait for it. Until then, here is the trailer:

    I love the work and vision of Tim Burton. What a gift for Morgan to be able to work with him (Morgan must be remarkably talented! :)). So now, I patiently await 9/9/09.

    Oh I just Love this painting!
    Birds are one of my favorite things in this world. They are so free and independent.

    Well...not all of them...but as Maya says event he cage bird knows how to sing.

    How very exciting! My daughter is the BIGGEST Tim Burton fan, I am a big one but not the BIGGEST:)
