I've been wanting this Blythe doll for ages, and I don't know if it is the heat or what, but I finally went out and got her :)
Isn't she cute in her little outfit? She is the one that looks most like me. I love wearing sweaters and kerchiefs too (of course not during a heat wave...) I love her! I had the original Blythe doll in the 70's, I hope I can take better care of this one. No more homemade hair-cuts, I promise ;)
How cute!! I never had a Blythe doll. I am going to have to check into getting one for myself.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, what is left of it.
Tammy
Your new Blythe is adorable! Does she have a name?
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute. I am longing to have a liddle kiddle doll like I had in the sixties, but they don't make them anymore. I never had a Blythe doll, but you have got me thinking...
ReplyDeleteshe is adorable Tascha, I am visiting the web page to find out more!!!!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of a Blythe doll.. She is adorable. J
ReplyDeleteI have not heard of this doll either. I still have the orginal Barbie doll from 1959! and I also have the fuzzy head Ken doll.
ReplyDeleteYours is cute...I love the big eyes.
I obviously missed these dolls in the '70s . . . but that's likely true of many other things of "the day."
ReplyDeleteEnjoy her!!!
Oh my gosh!!! I found you. I loved the music trivia that you did during a Suze Blu web event (chat, whatever you call it). I knew you just had to have a blog or youtube channel... and I just found it.
ReplyDeleteYou AND Suze make a great team.. and both inspire me to open up a journal and start allowing my creativity to show.
Since I didn't know what a Blythe Doll was, I googled it and found this... very cute... Judy

Hahaha... I did lots of wild haircuts on my Barbies as well. And eyeliner in ballpoint pen, Uhura style. And trying to poke my mom's earrings into their poor earlobes... Poor things.
ReplyDeleteI missed the Blythe thing, though, because I think they're pretty cute in a creepy way... Which is so like me. lol. Please don't be scared.
Off to search for Blythes with black hair and green eyes now...
