I finally got my dollie :)

I've been wanting this Blythe doll for ages, and I don't know if it is the heat or what, but I finally went out and got her :)
Isn't she cute in her little outfit? She is the one that looks most like me. I love wearing sweaters and kerchiefs too (of course not during a heat wave...) I love her! I had the original Blythe doll in the 70's, I hope I can take better care of this one. No more homemade hair-cuts, I promise ;)

  1. How cute!! I never had a Blythe doll. I am going to have to check into getting one for myself.

Have a great weekend, what is left of it.

  3. She is so cute. I am longing to have a liddle kiddle doll like I had in the sixties, but they don't make them anymore. I never had a Blythe doll, but you have got me thinking...

  6. I have not heard of this doll either. I still have the orginal Barbie doll from 1959! and I also have the fuzzy head Ken doll.

  7. I obviously missed these dolls in the '70s . . . but that's likely true of many other things of "the day."

    Enjoy her!!!

  8. Oh my gosh!!! I found you. I loved the music trivia that you did during a Suze Blu web event (chat, whatever you call it). I knew you just had to have a blog or youtube channel... and I just found it.

You AND Suze make a great team.. and both inspire me to open up a journal and start allowing my creativity to show.

  10. Hahaha... I did lots of wild haircuts on my Barbies as well. And eyeliner in ballpoint pen, Uhura style. And trying to poke my mom's earrings into their poor earlobes... Poor things.

I missed the Blythe thing, though, because I think they're pretty cute in a creepy way... Which is so like me. lol. Please don't be scared.

Off to search for Blythes with black hair and green eyes now...
