Well, I didn't get the condo. My bid was "the lowest, and considered kind of funny compared to the other offers"....which is weird, since I offered them their asking price. Apparently the condo sold for $20,000 OVER their asking price. So, I guess my offer was kind of funny :)
I'm starting to feel a bit like a little fish swimming with a bunch of big sharks!
It's a bummer. I had myself living there in my mind's eye. I knew where all my furniture would go, I could see the cats sun bathing by the window. Then *poof* gone. Oh well, I'm quite happy where I am so that's okay with me :)

I thought I'd show you a couple of pages of my little sketchbook just for fun.
I noticed this was a project I wanted to do in March '09! So many projects, so little time.

I've been busy lately! But I'm kind of spinning my wheels. If anything actually comes to fruition I will tell you :)
For instance, I am bidding on a condo tomorrow....again....
Real estate here is played out like ebay, but on steroids. You see, for some crazy reason, here in Toronto you put a "bid" in to buy a home and the highest bid gets it. (Well in downtown Toronto anyway) It's not just any auction, it's a "blind auction", so you don't know what anyone else is bidding. I have a tendency to bid too low and lose out :P
Ah well, one of these days I'll snag one at a good price, right?
So there you go. Things like that have been taking a lot of my time, but nothing really comes of it. Hopefully this time I will be lucky.

I thought I'd paint a babushka with little baby foxes. I guess they are called a kit, cub or pup. I like baby :)

Oh what a beautiful day!

Today was a nice sunny day! The temperature was ABOVE freezing by about 4 degrees and it's starting to smell like Spring :)
I know that the first day of Spring isn't until March 20th, but I am counting down the days! I'm all set to get my spring wardrobe out. I can't wait to spend days down at harbourfront , sitting on the dock watching the boats. Oh I can't wait! Today really made me feel like it is on it's way.

Looks like Babushka and her friend the fox are out enjoying the weather too on their bicycle built for two!

Hello everyone in blogland!
Little Red and Mr. Wolfie are drifting out to sea.
I've been busy lately and wish I could sail away to a tropical island. It is so cold here!
I hope the weather is nice where you are.
