Red Skies at Night

Today was a bit of a topsy tervy day weather wise. It started out nice and sunny and then a wild storm blew through. Thunder and lightning, with a lot of rain. But then, it stopped! As the sun set, I looked out my window and saw this pretty pink and blue sky.
The sailors say "Red sky at night, sailors delight!". I hope tomorrow is a nice day because I got too busy to get an ice cream cone this afternoon.

I took this picture of me and Lily today:
(Today was one of those "soft focus" kind of days.)

Lily is the nervous kitty of the two, but she is as sweet as pie! She likes to nuzzle into my hair, so it was hard to pull her away from my head long enough to take this picture. She's such a sweetie!

I hope tomorrow is warm and sunny and full of ice cream cones and kitty kisses!

Frida with a Bird and Butterflies

Cha Cha Cha!
My newest painting is just BURSTING with bright juicy colors!
Frida is reaching out to the birds and butterflies with open arms.
I have used a hot pink background on this one opposed to the usual turquoise color. Collage papers make up her skirt and butterflies as well as the banner and bird.
I hope everyone had a good week and is ready for the weekend. It has been a bit rainy here the last couple of days, but the weekend looks good. YAY! I hope it is "walk outdoors with an ice cream cone" weather on Saturday :)
Talk to y'all soon!

WINDY

The weather has been so windy here lately. The kind of wind that blows your hair doo all over the place :)
As I was walking home from the post office with my hair standing straight up, I thought... "this would be perfect weather to fly a kite"!
Tonight I have listed "Kite Flying. It is up for grabs on ebay.

Hoping I don't blow away!

Hugs!

kitty and tea time

How was everyone's holiday?
I spent my weekend looking at condos. I hesitated again, and lost out again! :(
Who would guess that condos sell within one day of going on the market?
I like time to think about such a big purchase...I guess I'm one of the few who do.

I have a new little painting up for grabs on ebay. "Tuxedo Cat Portrait". It is MEOW-O-LICOOUS!
Talk to you all soon!
